Episode 3: "What is comprehensive sex education?"

Welcome to the third installment of our podcast series, "Common Sense: The Case for Comprehensive Sexual Education in Illinois." This week, our podcast will be answering the question: what exactly is comprehensive sex ed? Furthermore, how does it measure up with abstinence-only education?

This episode will investigate what information is included in these programs, discuss the options students and parents are given, and provide evidence showing why teens need more than just abstinence-only education. We will hear from public high school teachers and members of our Teen Awareness Group on the importance of comprehensive sex education in our communities, as well as the incredible impact it could have in teens' lives.
