I don't get how people can hold onto faith so hard after they've been wronged so bad, if god really loved you he would have stopped the accident from ever happening. How about the millions of other accidents that happened where people weren't so lucky and died? It's most likely because there is no god and random stuff just happens. I don't mean to take away from any of this, and I feel for these people, it just seems so odd to me.

Just letting you know effective prayer is an oxymoron. Keep in mind the doctors' work, rather than claiming prayers saved your life. Good luck to you, this is a very inspiring story :)
