Rob Mackenzie plays Theme for Young Lovers as a tribute to Hank Marvin, lead guitarist for The Shadows.
Hank is renowned for his sound, achieved using his red Fender Stratocaster, Vox amplifier and echo machine, his first being a Meazzi Echomatic. Later he used a Vox-badged Meazzi, then a Binson echorec(Drum)Echo Machine, and currently an Alesis Quadraverb Q20.
Recorded on a cassette tape recorder at home.
