  • well, probably in music more less, but in terms of architecture, history, identity, native americans culture and mixture with anglos, art, and religion. I believe that USA is not an interest country for artist. Only for investors and for immigrants! Today we can see that Hollywood is a shit compared 40 years ago. WHY, because Europeans, Mexicans, and Asians, are making fucking good movies with a globalized vision. See american movies, always the fucking flag all over the place!!!WHY????

  • Very well ~ & succinctly stated yis2.

That said- one must wonder WHY this man telling a story of his own personal experience here on earth- has turned into an Anti-America/Defend America debate.

This is THIS man's story- and we should all let him tell it, and be grateful- as none of us will ever meet Picasso and have a story about the meeting to tell.:)

  • @vaporizer08 - incidentally, get your numbers right, Picasso was indeed PROLIFIC, he produced up to 50.000 works during his career, in different media, but not the ludicrous number you suggest. Nor of course was he just a painter, he was also a sculptor and a ceramicist. Your asinine remark that 'paintings are in reality worth only as much as the price of the canvas', demonstrates admirably that you have no understanding whatsoever of the appreciation of art.

  • @vaporizer08 - congratulations on understanding that liking art is a subjective matter. Unfortunately, you lose points by assuming that 'prolific' = poor. JMW Turner was not only the greatest landscape artist of all time. He revolutionised water colour and oil painting and was the precursor of impressionism. He was unquestionably a genius and, guess what, he was PROLIFIC, 550 oil paintings, over 2,000 highly detailed and finely finished watercolours, and some 30,000 works on paper.

  • those 11 or need attention, or have a stupid reason to not like picasso.

  • Let us not forget America is a MELTING pot or culture. We make due for all man kind here. Don't like it? Then move back to your home land. We don't cater to ONE kind. Oh, and the Flag stands for Democracy. We like to spread that ALL are equal and will Die for it

  • @rictit

so DAMN FUCKING TRUE. I'm tired of seeing their fuckin flag!! Every new movie is more redneck than the previous one! Please can I spent ONE day without seeing IT?!

  • @vaporizer

to call Picasso a fraud is simply absurd. he is probably the most influential artist of all time. just because he turned out so many pieces simply shows how productive he was.

  • would you like to buy a canary? I have three left.

  • picasso was a con-artist or fraudsters of the highest order. He painted 300 thousand painting, like 10-15 paintings a day, while classical painters like waterhouse painted 600 paintings in his entire life. This fact only shows that this man was a crap and some idiots here still believe that he was the greatest thing on earth ever lived. His paintings are in reality worth only as much as the price of the canvas.BTW Tracey Emin sold her urine soaked bed for over 100 thousand $.Nice modern art,eh?

  • when was this interview?

  • pablo picasso never got called an asshole
