To everyone who says they're Wild Guppies: Thank you for the clarification, I filmed this a while ago when I thought that the colors meant they were Endler's.

  • @fishslair I didn't say that Endlers do not have spots. They almost always certainly do. What I said was that they do not have *circles*, meaning symmetric and well-defined actual circles. This is a trait more commonly associated with guppies. And to correct myself, what I should have said what that Endlers almost never have circles (as almost anything is possible in nature), and I would stand by that statement.

It sounds as though the owner enjoys the fish, which is really all that matters :)

  • kill those lil thangs, theyre gay

  • You have wild or guppies with wild type colourations. Endler's livebearers have different looking markings and more intense colours.

  • @ededh11 goto swampriveraquatics

    no spots huh.

    geesh!

  • wth??? i seriously have wild guppies?? not endlers??( they look just like yours)

... well.. that is kinda cool.. i have a wild fish!!.. but not if mine had babies in an aquarium...

  • they look more like wild guppies

  • Endlers don't have those black circles on the body. They also have shorter dorsal fins and are noticeably thinner from top to bottom on the rear portions toward the tail (these are more stocky). Endlers also have more defined splotches of color and almost never show any pastel type colors, but instead very vibrant yellows, oranges, reds and greens. These are still very cool guppies, though.

  • how do you differentiate?
