Hammond L-100 wreck, brought back to life. Got it with no motor, bad TW. generator, bad filter caps ++.
Installed new motor, replaced wax cap with red mylar, oiled generator ++. This clip is only the organ, no leslie!

  • @paulj0557 Chorus is usually made by mixing the vibrato signal with the clean sound. I think this is how it's done in B-3s, C-3s, A-100s and so on. H-100s (and possibly others) use a different scheme where the LC delay line is improperly terminated in chorus mode, so that reflections are introduced.

  • I actually like the non-scanner solid state vibrato sound. How is the chorus sound? BTW, I consider myself a pretty good electronics geek when it comes to organs, amps, and pedals, but even though I had and played an A100 for a long time I still am confused about the chorus settings on a TW organ ( w/ scanner). I've heard they fed part of the vibrato signal with a non-effected signal and this is how the chorus was created, but is this true. How was chorus made on the scanner type & this type?

  • Drawbar settings PLEASE.

  • great save!

  • what kind of drawbar settings did you use?

  • @every2dogs Ok, thank you very much

  • @zacllama

    No!

  • Beautiful!

I'm new to organs, so I have one question for you: is a Hammond L121 with bench for $375 a good deal?

    Thank you, Zac

  • that is one awesome hammond!
