Arguing about religion. What a bunch of knuckleheads. I'm guessing God is not pleased.

helamen333, repent and keep the commandments. your heart will change back to being at peace within yourself. good luck.

The building in the video is the Kirtland temple (not the Nauvoo as you mentioned, which is owned by the LDS Church).
With as short of a time as he had, they probably didn't feel it was necessary to talk about ownership of the building.

lds999. No, the joke is on you, I asked you for sources and you gave none. Oh and by the way...I am a mormon...studied church history in semenary. How do you think I learned what small minds mormons have. I don't play the mormon game anymore. You can't even tell me your sources. goodbye now

You said "at least tell me where and when the property was returnd to the mormon church."
I did this. Please re-read the comment. If you wanted my sources, all you had to do was ask. Try the official Kirtland Temple website, or the scholarly article, "JOSEPH SMITH III AND THE KIRTLAND TEMPLE SUIT."
Now what were your sources again?
If you learned all of your church history from seminary (a program for high-schoolers), you may need to study up a little more! It's a good start.

hello again lds9999. Your like many mormons. They know it all except their own history. But then, it took over a hundred years for the mormons to admitt killing men, women, and children at mountain meadows. I won't bother to respond anymore. The truth is not in you or in this church.

Haha, brilliant. I ask for your sources and you don't answer the question and then say you will not respond anymore. Why?
Like most critics of the Church, you try to spread lies and then leave when challenged.

lds9999 I have double checked and the historical books say this temple was owned by the Mormon church until the 1880's. It was left in a shambles. Under court order the property was turned over to the Reorganized church of Jesus Christ now known as the community of christ. Check it out or atleast tell me where and when the property was returned to the mormon church.

When you say the "Mormon Church", I assume you are referring to the LDS Church and not one of the other groups.
Which sources are you reading from? For example, it says that by 1848, groups other than the LDS Church owned it. In 1874, Joseph Smith III purchased the deed to the Kirtland temple and the Community of Christ (RLDS Church) has had it since.
Therefore, to say that it was owned by the LDS church until the 1880s and "left in shambles" is incorrect.
