what exactly was awesome? i've never seen them live before and they kinda sucked to me... but there really didnt seem to be a lot of their fans, so that made it worse

Well, if you don't like their music it's obvious that you don't like them. I've also wondered why the AM had chosen them as support, they are completely different in my opinion. As for me, I haven't seen or listened to the AM before and only went there to see The Kills. And awesome was Alison Mosshart's performance ;)
