PIKE FEVER - Jerkbaiting for Scandinavian monsters

If you are into fishing, youve probably dreamt of landing a 22 pound (10 kg) Nordic pike. For two of
Swedens top pike fishermen, this dream came true one weekend over and over again! In March 2004, Stefan Trumman Trumstedt and Torbjörn Buster Odén had decided to go fishing in the archipelago. They had no idea that in less than three days, they would catch over 150 pikes, including two real beauties which tipped the scales at over 33 lbs a piece and another 22 weighing well over 20 lbs each. When it became clear that they were in the middle of a veritable pike frenzy, they rang me and shouted excitedly into my phone. I dropped everything, packed my camera equipment and got into my car. On the way, I thought about a script for the film, but not even I was prepared for the sights that awaited me. When filming started the following morning, the excitement was almost too much to bear. Incredibly, the pikes kept going for the bait like mad, and I was able to catch a hitherto unprecedented fishing experience on film. A frenzy of remarkable proportions! Word of the fabulous fishing tale spread like wildfire and soon made history as the most
amazing case of pike fever ever witnessed in Scandinavia. After months of painstaking editing I was able to present this epic pike fishing film. It quickly became one of the classics in Scandinavia and won the award
"Best fishing film of the year" in 2005. Pike Fever is full of serious pike fishing action: brutal bites, fabulous fights, double acts and a totally unbelievable series of pikes which will leave even the most experienced pike fisherman breathless. And, as if this were not enough, the two jerkbait pros also share their thoughts on the best equipment to choose and offer masses of useful tips on how to trick those monsters into biting.

i caught a 48 incher in canada on a little doctor spoon gold / chrome. our resort was called anglers kingdom it was the best fishing on earth you caught walleyes every 2 minutes from 6 inches to 27 inches. I fully recomend this place to any angler who wants to catch numbers of big fish

I also upgraded a Cardinal 66 (about 1972 green and cream colour original) by

putting in 66X worm-mill drive. The only weakness of the original Cardinal 66/77

was the slowness of retrieve, but I now have a Cardinal 66X 1973! Way ahead of its time! -it purrs away like a sleeping tiger! Shimano??-no contest!
