Priya è insopportabile. Cerca in tutti modi di cambiare Leonard, facendolo vestire bene ecc.. A penny invece lui piaceva così com'era. Non vuol dire che gli amasse proprio tutto di lui, ma lo accettava. C'è una puntata della 4 stag, non ricordo il titolo, in cui Leonard va con i suoi amici a recuperare delle cafrusaglie rubate a Sheldon, da un tizio e quando la macchina va in panne, lui chiama Penny. e la spiegazione che le da è che Priya non averbbe mai capito e quindi gli aveva mentito.

@MeredithOD All true, but still, she can't really focus on her feelings and expect him to follow them if she doesn't take in account her own. I think Priya is still a cool character, but she seems more worried about her own image than anything, especially when it comes to her parents and how they view him. So leonard not wanting to let go of that aspect of his old life, isn't so bad, but it would be worse, if he kept all of his old habits, but still refused.

@Tatsue295 Well it's wrong of her to try to change Leonard's appearance and hobbies, but it is NOT wrong to insist he have no contact with his ex. In fact, the only thing wrong about it is Leonard should have been sensitive enough to his gf's feelings to take it upon himself to cut ties with his old flame. If Priya constantly hung out with an ex of hers, you'd be all over that as one of the ways she mistreated Leonard. The truth is, the fans just love Penny and didn't want to see the structure

@MeredithOD But she is overbearing, she's forcing Leonard to change every aspect of himself, in changing his clothing style, his glasses, and his own hobbies. And while saying that she's insecure about Penny isn't wrong, forcing them to part ways, or have them alienate each other is in the wrong.

Priya wasn't wrong to let Leonard know that Penny's constant intrusion bothered her. In fact, Leonard and Penny were wrong. One of them should've had the insight and sensitivity to Priya to come to this conclusion on their own instead of putting the new gf in the position of having to come across as jealous and overbearing.
