what is this piece?
-
@MarquisEstelle Actually you're wrong, it's "Minuet" from the String Quintet No. 5 in E Major by Luigi Boccherini.

how is the name of the entire song?
-
@MrNostalgiaX yes.
-
@MrNostalgiaX yes they do. they are technically a "real" band, but they were created for the sole purpose of the mocumentary "This is Spinal Tap" - but the the actors who portray the band mates do in fact play and sing everything you hear. they have also toured in the past and preformed live shows as a way to promote the movie and just have a jolly good time.

Hi I'm a newbie to Spinal Tap. I know they are based in comedy even more than the metal in the music they do, but do they actually play their own instruments?

i also love the laboured drumming at 0:15....oh yeah!! xD

Reminds me of satrianni...

Heavy Duty rock n roll!
not really - they're taking the piss out of a rock cliche where rock guitarists inject classical music into their solos to make themselves look "cultured".
