That's the most ignorant comment! Vehicles showed a MARKED reduction in fuel consumption when the engines switched to computer controled, fuel injection in addition to substantial reduction in emissions.
It does not "dump more fuel out when you try to lean it". It runs leaner than you could manually adjust an engine because it can vary engine parameters to keep running smooth on the fly including periods when the engine is warming up.
Replacing fuel injection with a carb is dumb.

@StinkyCheese9999 on the contrary I know them all to well. did you know they were implemented to help us use more fuel? just the simple fact it dumps more fuel in when you try to lean the fuel out to save money on gasoline.
Its also the main reason Hydrogen opn demand systems do not save on gasoline, many ppl call HHO a scam because they dont know you have to trick the o2 senser.
me? I take fuel injection off and replace it for a carbourator and proper intake manifold.

You don't understand computer controlled fuel injected engines. So long as there is an air flow sensor, the computer increases the injector open period. The fuel pump pumps the same amount of fuel and there is a pressure regulator, so any fuel that does not go through the injectors into the engine is dumped back into the gas tank. Thus when the computer senses more air and keeps injectors open longer, the engine gets more gas. Pump operation is always 100% duty continuous pressure

use that mofo to make a motorjet.
