Part 2 shows our aviary for rescued parrots and other birds; our monkey sanctuary; our rescued star tortoises; new construction for our ducks, rabbits and geese; our medical laboratory; and more cattle grazing.
Visakha SPCA, on the east coast of India in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh is a home for dogs, cats, turtles, monkeys, cows, buffaloes, birds, horses, and other animals. The number of animals that we rescue and treat is increasing every year. Our shelter is an eco-friendly environment as we have many plants for wildlife protection; we use and make biogas (energy from cow dung) and vermicompost. We also do community outreach for humane education, sea turtle protection and teach animal birth control methods to help dogs and cats.
This video is narrated by our shelter manager Rajeshkar with text written by Pradeep Nath, Visakha SPCA Founder and President. It was edited by Eric Rockey of Seattle, Washington, USA. Please visit our web site at www.visakhaspca.org
Splendid and impressive video and overwhelmingly beautiful work for the animals. I was especially taken by the care taken for the abused parrots. Thanks to Pradeep and all people and animals for making the world a saner, more peaceful place. All that good energy just grows and grows and will add up to something vast and grand.
