I liked the Ser Gilmore mod until he gave me that talk because I gave Zevran his boots....then I kinda just thought he was a paranoid little pain in the ass

@efatarocks He only gives you that talk if Zevran's romance is active. Therefore, if you don't want anything to do with Zev, it's no loss. Tell Zev you REALLY don't want him as a lover, only as friend, and problem solved. If you want a romance with Zevran, then have an open relationship with Rory, and Rory will never complain.

Plus, read the documentation provided for more info on romance/open relationship.

@wertherenn, mods don't work in consoles, only pc version. Another reason why consoles suck. :-)

Yeah the dlc authorisation is not started with steam for some reason on w7 64. I tried all fixes on forum provided untill the final solution. I can only play now if I start the updater manually as admin and then go to services and start the authorisation manually from there 2. Then I set it to automatic to prevent future problems but it resets to manual if I close DA sometimes, making me repeat those steps again. So I got it fixed by crack, but now it crashes each 6 hours. PC:(

@MigelBlonde I have the ultimate edition on disc on W7 64, and it works perfectly. I don't know about Steam too much, since I only use it to play Skyrim...

I got the game for pc as well now because of that ultimate discount on steam. But now I need an illigal program to keep all the expansions working. Which seems to be a common problem for w7 64 bit users. Though the interface, game speed, ai reactions, tactical view, increases draw distance etc are welcome attributes to the game, it took me 6 hours to get this working. I am now 2 afraid to run any mod or dable with toolsets.

@MigelBlonde Nah, Bioware likes to include toolsets in PC packages. Always did. Which means PC will always get modding options as far as Bioware includes the toolset. NWN1 and NWN2 both included toolsets, which made the games insanely popular.

@emoGIRL1087 You need to use Ser Gilmore mod from the dragon age nexus website. I used it once but Gilmore went pissy because evidently somewhere someplace Alistair fell in love with me. Then I wished I had the option of making Rory a Warden so he can chop the archdemon's head off instead of Alistair or me.
