A return trip to Cordon equipped with an SSP-99M, an RPG-7, two Mo0nlights, three Crystals, five Batteries, a PSO-1 scope, and a partridge in a pear tree. XD I could have used a scoped AK, but I chose the '74U instead just because it's the first rifle you get when you're just starting out in Cordon and I was feeling nostalgic rather than practical like I usually am. I don't recommend using the '74U against the Spets unless you're an absolute expert at scoring headshots on human enemies using iron sights (I'm not). With 45% bulletpr0of capacity, that Berill 5M armor is just as g0od for you as it is for the Spets. And just so's you know, I don't usually empty the magazine like that with a select-fire rifle. I usually fire in short controlled bursts of two to four rounds.

I chose the songs 'Run to the Hills' by Iron Maiden and 'Locomotive Breath' by Jethro Tull. This video was made with 'Run to the Hills' in mind, but the vid turned out longer than I anticipated, so I spliced some Tull in there (of demented do0m).

  • nice choice on the gun :)

  • @AthroughZ1thr0ugh9 Thank yeh! You mean the sawed-off (aka "hogleg")? I love that gun. I wish ObLost retained the same zo0m on the sawed-off. The way it is in ObLost makes the sawed-off lo0k like it's to0 far forward or just not as big as it should be, especially compared to the sawed-off from Clear Sky (just going by the way it lo0ks). To0 bad the sawed-off sucks in Clear Sky and Call of Pripyat.

  • @IggyHazard yeah, i love using shotguns. especially the older models.

  • @AthroughZ1thr0ugh9 There's just something appealing about the hogleg and it's Old West style charm.

  • Fave band, fave song, fave game. :D

  • Go0d combo. \8-D

  • Indeed

  • That could explain why Russians who speak English tend to leave out words, especially articles and prepositions. Articles and prepositions seem to be difficult for those who learn English as a second language. Even people who learned English as their first language seem to have trouble with the proper use of commas. They don't actually denote a pause in a sentence. Their intended use is more specialized than that.

  • Heh, no prob.

Russian words can have different prefixes and suffixes added to modify the meaning, similar to Spanish. Thus you can make entire sentences implied with one word.

In this came, the base word "ubyit" means "to kill". But if you change that to "ubyu" it can mean "I'll kill you", without actually having to say "I'll" and "You" because they are implied. Just a bit of random info, lol.

  • I was wondering about the translation of that. XD
