Eternal Consolation

SYPNOSIS

In the year 2199, a man struggles to live his life in a pre-apocalyptic society when all that is dear to him is stripped away. Filled with confusion and despair, he sets out on a quest to search for something that will keep him moving forward. Perhaps he is looking for comfort? Maybe he is searching for something more, or will his fruitless journey only unravel more uncertainty in his life, his future? What is humanism? What will happen to our identity when our "human" consciousness is slowly deteriorating? What is "life" when mankind is able to change the very concept of the word?

This was the science fiction short film I had been working on for the past 4 months.
