  • BOTH ENDS BURNING, ONE OF THE IF NOT THE MOST IMPORTANT SONG OF THE NEW WAVE/TECHO-DANCE/ELECTRONIC ERA. THIS SONG WAS THE FOUNDATION FOR A NUMBER OF GROUPS. DURAN DURAN INCLUDE. THIS SONG HAS IT ALL. IN FACT THE WHOLE ALBUM WAS A TOUCHSTONE FOR MANY.THE 3RD VERSE IS SUPERB. ROXY PERFORMED THIS IN CLEVELAND, 1975. VERY WEIRD. YOU HAVE TO DIG FERRY'S MILITARY LOOK.

  • So Duran Duran wasn't so original after all

  • So anyway, more importantly, who are the backup singers?

  • @801liveable No, you're an idiot who has no life. :-D

  • @ruadhanmcelroy Then were in agreement..You're were wrong along..Bye..

  • @801liveable I haven't assumed a thing -- you've made it all perfectly clear. LOL

  • @ruadhanmcelroy You never assume anything..Your immaturity is blatant.."This case is closed elementary my dear".

  • @801liveable So what if I haven't (even though I have)? When I'm rating his skills as a singer, live recordings will suffice, assuming they're of a decent quality. Sure, in some ways, his live presence overrides what he lacks in vocal ability, but you're clearly too stupid to see I've been saying that all along. I hope when I'm your age, I'll still have the presence of mind to realise what an argument is about.

  • @ruadhanmcelroy Yeah, I love you too big prairie rose..Have a very merry, merry Bryan Ferry, Christmas and while you're at it listen to the "Bogus Man"..Maybe you'll learn something about Ferry and Eno..I still say you never saw a Roxy Music/Bryan Ferry concert in your life.."Mayday - cut down to size again..What then - when less is more my friend"..

  • @801liveable No, Ferry and Eno had personal differences and artistic that split them up --but the first two RM records are superior to all subsequent RM records. My opinion doesn't need an age comparable to yours, as it's dependent on artistic merit alone, and as an artist, I'm absolutely allowed to voice it. Get a life. Seriously, honey.

  • @ruadhanmcelroy I really don't care what you think. All I know is you're wrong..First off, you're too inexperienced to make your opinion. You haven't been "around" long enough.I'll venture to say you've never seen Bryan Ferry live. You come off as a pompous kid know it all.Yes, Eno is an innovator but remember this, if there was no Bryan Ferry there would be no Brian Eno..Ferry and Eno did not work well together. That's why Eno left. Please do research before you broker an opinion.

  • @801liveable Yes, & my 1st comment was about Ferry as a singer, so please don't insult my intelligence. As a singer, he lacks control over his voice & relies too heavily on affectations; he sounds better in the studio. I never said Eno was a better singer, but surely there are reasons to listen besides voice? Ferry's a poet, & Eno an innovator, I think they worked better together than apart; but then, I'm arguing logic to some-one on a mission to convert my opinion of Bryan Ferry.
