These were a little different. The Kenmore version was a very short run. The container in the back was called the "bag saver". It was supposed to collect fine dust to prolong the bag's life. It was at least a well-intentioned idea, because the bags are expensive.

I have the Bissell version. THe "Pro Lite" It is a twin fan, which is really neat.
