@RamFett You should record the Mequon one next! I would love to hear that one!
-
@RamFett Ok, i want to record that on some day. There is a Federal Model 5/7 in a small town named Belgium that I live right down the road from. I want to record it but I think it's broken. there is also a STH-10 by the town laundry mat that i'm pretty sure works.

Wow. These things don't have much as far as wind-ups. And I feel sorry for that horn, it looks like it's about to fall off.

I really hope that Milwaukee keeps this thing for many years. I'm getting bored of all the 'bolts.

when turned the way it is it kinda looks like a t-bolt

Is that the Cyclone at the beginning right next to I-43? Ive seen that one!

@jjjjentges That one by I-43 is in Mequon, I think it's a little too far away to hear from this location. I tried to record that one for the statewide drill a couple years ago but Mequon didn't set their sirens off for some reason. I'm definitely thinking the one heard in this video would be one of Cedarburg's Cyclones.

Geez, talk about being late for the party! That Hurricane was about 2 min. late on "arrival", but still, sweet siren.

@craigery96 Well, since this was for the statewide drill, not a regular test, there was actually a 5 minute window in which municipalities could activate sirens. The Cyclone at the beginning is coming from a different system outside the county, either Mequon or Cedarburg to the north. Milwaukee County set all of theirs off when the mock warning was issued for them.
