  • @TheOpenStore I liked yolur comments. There are more who miss the Muskegon Mall. I started a page on Facebook called Muskegon Mall 1976-2001 and in one week, it has close to 300 members. Lots of people leaving good memories.

  • Jim Edmunson was Economic development director back in mid-90's.. what a lying, crooked piece of crap. He did more to destroy the development of Muskegon for small business than any crime rate, then he moves! I'll never move my business or home back into that craphole. Muskegon politics since post WW2....one step forward and three steps back. No wonder why downtown looks like a bombed out neighborhood of Baghdad

  • Muskegon has the highest suicide rate in the country! Get out while you still can!!!!

  • If you live in Muskegon, the best thing that you can do for yourself and your loved ones is to MOVE (preferably to another state). Muskegon will never change.

  • You have the most famous historic ship on the Great Lakes (the Clipper) on your lake, yet you CONTINUE to ignore her (and the large crowds that she could bring in). The goofballs couldnt even bring the new ferry dock to downtown (its across from the mayors bar miles away)! I feel sorry for the people of Muskegon. They're great people. It's just the ignorant and arrogant JERKS who need to be tarred and feathered!

  • The so-called "leaders" of this hole have made one NIGHTMARISH mistake after another. If it wasn't so far gone, it would be laughable. Theyve destroyed their own community! The mall kept people out of the freezing winter winds, but instead of doing the right thing by bringing in theaters and restaurants, THEY TORE IT DOWN!

  • sure i try to get businesses to move to muskegon, and when i called about fiber. (networking) they told me the schools had it, and i should call GR. I miss the mall. good memories there.
