12-9-09 Montana Creek Dog Mushers Trail Test. Skeeter and I took two, 12-dog teams out double sledding each team. The trail was pretty hard and fast. This is not a perfect trail yet, mainly because of the tussocks and uneven ground underneath. There are no big ledges, or bumps, but quite a bit of high frequency type small stutter bumps. Hooks will hold on the trail as long as you can bury it in the snow on the trail, not on a thin spot. We should have a good weekend of racing ahead.
