This was made for the 48 Hour film festival in Richmond, VA the weekend of July 17-19. The way the contest works is Friday night at 7:00 each group drew a genre out of a hat. We drew romance. Then all of the groups are assigned a prop, a line of dialogue, and a character. For this contest, the prop was a tomato, the line of dialogue was "you can ask her yourself," and the character was Michael Dooley - "Green Expert." The films had to be 7 minutes or less.
The weekend was stressful, hectic, wild, fun, exhausting, etc. etc. However, at the end of the day (or two days to be more accurate) we made a coherent film in 48 hours. See the credits for those who worked on the film and their contributions. Overall, it was a really good experience.
