Segment number ten of CUT BACK: facing ageism touches on the difficulties the older worker faces to stay in the workforce and to be accepted. Human Resources need to stop thinking what is legal and start thinking what is moral. Changing the corporate mindset as a group. "Think with your soul some." Government needs to embrace the older worker. Helping companies see the value of older workers. Sometimes the HR dept. doesn't have the knowledge of what the job really is. "The boss just doesn't get it." Finding out the challenges of the job, and going in set for battle. Understand you have value and you are recruiting them too. Try to talk to people directly in the departments. Testing misconceptions. Not enough people getting exposure.

Featuring: Paul Arfin, Tom Farley, JoAnn Fiorentino, Maria Serrano, Rachel Conine, Jo Anne Musolf, James Lansing.
