An ADG CPL @ open day amberley reckons the squadron is vying to get the M4A1 rifles and ditch the F88. One of the Army officers told them "not to hold their breath...you guys dont do anything that special" lol

@Schredder222 15km with 40kg on your back. thats enough to make any small back problem a big one.

What are people's thoughts about joining with a minor back problem? It isn't a major issue but it can very rarely cause discomfort if doing strenuous activities.

all this Fighting over which service is better my brother is RAAC armored corps and has just returned from afganistan where there was a flight of ADGS providing Infantry support along side with RA inf grunts and they both performed just as well as each other if any thing the ADGS where more use full due to there understanding of close Air support.
Do ADG's still wear the blue beret or was it taken away like in the Army?

They did not serve in Somalia, I was there. I only saw RAAF Hercules with aircrew and there were RAAF Air Traffic controllers at Mogadishu Airport.
This video needs to be corrected.

@MANCHILD69able LAC stands for Leading Aircraftman. There is a common misconception that the word contains an 's' this is incorrect. The correct terminology is Aircraftman.
