Disney Princess Half Marathon Tips and Info!

Next race: February 25-27, 2011! Start training, princesses!

1. Register before Jan 1st of that year so if you are interested in running in 2011 register by Jan 1, 2011 to get your name on your bib! Registration starts in the summer!

2. Book your hotel room! Disney has discounted rooms just for the race that are booked quickly! We stayed at Disney All Star Movies and it was great! I recommend it! But, the All Star hotels are the most popular because they are the least expensive.

3. Create an outfit! People go all out even the guys! Dress up like princesses, wear wings and tutus! I was tinkerbell but next year I want to be Minnie Mouse!

4. Go to the Expo either Friday or Saturday (the earlier the better!)

5. Enjoy the race! Bring warm, cheap clothes you don't mind throwing away as you run!

Question: for character pictures and whatnot, do they have photopass people with them to take pictures for people?

@xbeatlesxshirtx all characters have an entourage with them and they will take photos for you. i don't remember if it is the actual photopass people. i dont remember them having their own cameras, but they did use my camera to take photos of me. so make sure you bring one even if it is a disposable!

Found your video full of great info.! When do u find out which resorts offer a discount for the marathon and how do you get discounted theme park tickets for that same time frame? Keep the information coming, LOVE it !!! My girls (11and 8) talked me into taking them 2012 so we all can do, and of course I talked Daddy into the Family 5K. The girls and I love your video and will be using it to stay psyched while we train until we go !!!!

thanks for this video. I'm doing the disneyland half in freakin 11 days. this is my first ever! i've done 2 5k in the last 6 months, this is actually my first time running lmao...i'm nervous I keep having dreams I'm not going to make it! i have shorts, tank, i got a new hydration belt, a gel belt, i'm allll ready lmao.
