My husband Craig and I have been ESRA volunteers for over 4 years. Last year we put almost 2000 miles on my truck doing transports. We also have fostered over 10 springs to new forever home. Every October WI has a picnic for springers. Please email me at krisspecht@verizon.net for more details on the picnic.

I am also an ESRA member and foster mom, and can't add much to this wonderful video other than over my lifetime I have had many different breeds of dogs, but my first springer convinced me that this is one of the best breeds, and that every dog loving person should adopt a springer and find out just how wonderful they are!!!

As a foster mom with ESRA and someone that has gone and picked up dogs that are no longer wanted I can tell you that these dogs are the most loving and grateful animals you will ever meet. I sit here now and look at the "sea of springers" laying down in my ofice. I love them dearly! One is a foster , two I adopted. Sometimes you just can't help but fall in love and keep your fosters...lol To all my fosters that have been adopted out9) and counting, and my own dogs Grace,Chance and Winston xo

What a superb job done by everyone who helps our beloved springers. I will be interested in adopting a rescue springer in the near future. Special blessings to all who help in the New Year!
