Here is my MOTM-panel build of the Marc Bareille clone of the old Coron DS-8 drum voice analog synthesizer. It is very flexible for synth percussion and can be built for a very affordable price. More information and pictures will be posted soon on www.naturalrhythmmusic.com

  • I just finished my homemade ds8 clone, custom homemade pcb and all.

Just a question, when the noise balance knob is fully to the noise end, is the vco at all audible? Because on mine, when I think it should be fully noise, I can hear the vco some passing thru the noise color filter.

Is this normal, or is mine weird?

  • ah! nice one! i have 3 of his effects and 2 synths already... i find those pcbs lacking, compared to other DIY

  • @rhoggard76 check out synthrotec he sells a PCB and kit!

  • just what i was looking for! now i wish i could find a US pcb distributor

  • thank you for the demo! a pleasant and educational "guided tour" indeed
