back when I first heard The Cure in about 1983 I never imagined hat in 2012 I would have The Cure loaded into an IPod or that I would be cruising youtube for The Cure music.. I am 53 now, 1 year and 8 days older than Robert Smith. Because Robert Smith (in my opinion) is the greatest poet, songwriter, musician, band leader and totally the most underrated guitarist of my generation (and all others) I FEEL a unique connection with this young women that plays so beautiflly here...THANK YOU!

Have you ever heard of a Fender Bass VI? It's what the lead part of this song is played on.
Theres an UltraCure version coming out in march I think.
It's like a six string bass but it's tuned E A D G B E. Robert usually plays on the high pitched end of the finger board combined with the thick strings it makes quite a wierd bell like tone.
