A song by Washington D.C's Darkest Hour from their 2003 album, Hidden Hands Of A Sadist Nation.

Lyrics:

I can still see
You sucking the life out of me
I can still feel the chill
Down my spine when you told me
Always one fateful night
That turns the tide
Always one fateful night
With nowhere to hide
To live and die
In a day there's nothing
Left to say
Time will not erase
The counting down of the days
You finally got
What you've been waiting for
A handful of pills
Didn't soften the blow
One month of sucking it in
It started to show
Waking up to realize
It's not a dream
Was the hardest thing

  • I hope Darkest Hour play this next tuesday.

  • if they only quit after udoing ruin :P ...they were great HC band, and now not so good metal band...

  • This was the first Darkest Hour song I heard way back in 2004. They still kill. Who cares if it doesn't have guitar solos. It's raw and heavy and fun as hell to listen to.

  • i just found theys guys 2 nights ago and they already are in my top 5 favorite bands!

  • Best song by Darkest Hour. :P

  • @cheese0tron The last track, that's over 12 minutes long.

  • is there any solos by kris norris on this album i dont hear any

he played on this album right?

  • BEST MOTHER FUCKIN SONG OUT THERE!!!! THESE GUYS TRULY REPRESENT MUSIC... UNLIKE JUSTIN BIEBER...

  • @XxXxEMOFAGxXxX I don't listen to this kind of music anymore, I play the Bassoon and my bass days are over. But, I took the opportunity that I have now and listened to the song you had offered, it's very nice I gotta say, I won't go into detail but I enjoyed it. Sorry, I wasn't very open minded 10 months ago.

  • @Bassoonater LOL dude... do your homework before you call DH's guitarists inferior. Go listen to Deliver Us. Mike and Kris play some of the sickest, most melodic shit in this genre. Power chords have little to nothing to do with what makes this band so great.
