U-turns IMHO are not good on public roads. great way to practice low speed handling in a parking lot. But I prefer to get off the road and turn around safely then re-enter the roadway with total vision. One blind spot and it's WAM! BAM! ZOWIE!
There is no need to drag the rear brake. You only have to do that on downhill u-turns to keep your speed from building up. Its all about clutch and throttle.
@mudwasher do it either way, bikes with a poor turning circle are better leaned infact al bikes are better leaned to turn though a bike with a great turning circle you can go full lock slowly and turn tight, ride safe
Dont you make a u turn to your left?

@w6jxm99 It can definitely be done without dragging the rear brake, but doing it does help keep the bike more stable.
