I think you're mistaken about Adobe Gamma being installed on MS PCs. It appears to be special software that comes with high-end Adobe Products (Photoshop etc.)
-
Your wrong. Adobe Gamma came with adobe products, not windows. It came with Photoshop cs2 for instance, but not with cs3. I can't believe windows doesn't come with a simple calibration software atleast. What a joke.

This is useless unless you have some Adobe [?] software product installed. It's talking about software that is not from Microsoft and is not supplied with Vista.

Just want to say thank you for showing us this. very helpful, as I ALWAYS have the problem of prints not looking the same as what I have on screen!

buy a pantone huey or a similar product like spider. Thiswill calibrate your monitor properly. Adobe gamma is too basic.

Hi,
To adjust contrast on your vaio. Just right click on your desktop then select nvidia control pannel, then select, adjust desktop colour settings. from there you can adjust your contrast. Hope this helps.
