30 sec, V5 ECG video made using a IPhone 4 and the PC-80B ECG (EKG) monitor. A little shaky with parallax distortion since iPhone and monitor were handheld. The easiest way to send a 'strip' to your healthcare professional for evaluation without the use of a computer, fax, etc.
1. Hold the PC-80B against your chest about an 1" (2.5cm) below the left nipple, press the start button and wait for the recording to finish (a little over 30 seconds).
2. Point you smart phone camera at the PC-80B's screen and start recording video, and play back the ECG 'strip' made in Step #1.
3. When finished, attach the video to an Email, write in the symptoms your were experiencing at the time the strip was recorded, and send to your healthcare professional for evaluation.
The strip in this video shows I'm in AFib with frequent PVC's. The comment at the end 'Suspected irregular beat Interval' is the instruments interpretation of the reading.
