Barkley's New Boots

Barkley got some new boots. He loves them so much he's dancing for joy. (Read Below)

*One year we had a very harsh winter with a lot of snow and ice which led to loads of salt and chemical snow-melt on the sidewalks. Barkley needed protective boots because the salt was eating through his foot pads and he'd scream in pain and was unable to walk and we had to carry him home. Barkley also suffers from allergies which make his feet very sensitive to the salt and chemicals. The boots recently came in handy again when he cut his foot and needed stitches. They kept his foot clean and dry during his walks. The set of boots he's modelling in the video are his replacements for the original ones he chewed to pieces*

It only took one walk outside for him to get used them. Muttluks are seriously awesome boots if you're looking to protect your dog's feet from the elements or if your dog has sensitive feet due to allergies (like Barkley).

We had to change the music, apparently the license free track we had used originally set off flags with Youtube. We feel this track works just as well.

Thank you for your nice comments! He is a pretty amazing little dog and he is so stinking adorable. He does the cutest things too. I love him so much. It's a shame that they do not like socks and boots ... It is so important to protect them!

He's had to wear them for a few different reasons on multiple occasions. He has allergies and it can make his feet rather sensitive to cold, ice and snow. If there's salt or chemical snow-melt on the sidewalks and roads, it burns his feet and he'll scream like he's being murdered and fall over on his side. That was the primarily reason we bought the boots but they came in handy again when he cut his paw. He wore a boot on his front foot to keep his stitches clean and dry during his walks.

I wish my dog would walk cute like that when I put boots on her... she just trys to tear them off, its really hard for her to walk around outside in the snow too because shes such a small dog.. she tears off her jacket too that I put flashing lights on so I can find her in the snow since she won't use a leash, :3 those boots are so funny on dogs lol
