I believe this was originally published in 1923 and written by Jack B. Tenney, this arr. is by Haskell W. Harr from 1940 for piano and xylophone.

Played on a Deagan #870 Professional Xylophone. Hope you enjoy!

  • this brings back los of memories when i was around 5 (45 now) mercado el ahorro downtown mexicali or may be parque del mariachi, xylophone & tambora were there!!!!

  • @chemamole Glad it brought back fond memories :)

  • Bravo - this is really inspiring - where did you find this chart? where are you located? Not too many xylophonists out there!

  • @jds622 It's from a 1940s collection of mallet solos for a 2 1/2 octave mallet instrument by Haskell Harr (Harr is more well known for his drum method book)

  • Beautiful rendition of a favorite from yesteryear. Thanks for uploading and sharing.

  • @Blogrich55 You are most welcome. My plan is to post more after I've moved at the end of this summer.
