@ModelTXInfAmY - I know for a fact that the almost 100% of deaths in train crashes are in the first few carriages. Even train crashes where 100's have died everyone in the last carriage has survived. I'm of course talking head on crashes, derailments going off bridges etc. Have a look at this and tell me the people in the front would have the same injuries as those in the back. /watch?v=zJflu7z4Qy

@WillShakespeare2007 Actually Just as many accidents are in the last carriage as there are in the first carriage when a train crashes because of a whiplash effect. The safest place to be would be somewhere near the middle where the whiplash effect wouldn't be as strong but you are far enough away from the initial impact so that wouldn't effect you...
