Belarus national day 2009. 65 years ago, The 3. of July 1944 the German Nazis and fascists was thrown out of Minsk by the red Army.
This day was chosen as the national day in a referendum after President Lukashenka come to power in 2005.
This is part of the military parade in honour to the veterans.

    They still fly the Soviet Banner during the "Victory Day" parades in Moscow, within the parade itself. Other Russian towns fly that damn flag freely that day.
