  • @AlecEmpire As I have written before, I always like to learn and when I see something that might give me more information I explore it. This was a case of someone having a radical view on Esslinger. Exploration like drilling for diamond is not exact and guaranteed. Some times diamonds are found but most of the time it is just mud. This was such case.

If you ever read my screen name you would be naive to think I am a musician.

Good luck in your future endeavors.

  • @Ivanspaintingdotcom

Why you are so invested in this - who knows, maybe you are just a mediocre musician who used to hear the word "lame" a lot !?

  • @AlecEmpire I am sorry for you if you think lame and dislike have the same meaning. Meaning of a word is not subjective, it is a set definition. May be you should learn to speak your own language before calling me naive. And I am not your friend. Only a naive person would call someone friend after exchange of a few paragraphs.

  • @Ivanspaintingdotcom

call it "dislike" call it "not my taste" call it "lame" it doesn´t matter it is always a subjective opinion. That "Lameness" requires reason this is your subjective opinion my naive friend!

  • @AlecEmpire - No, I am not. I think you are disqualifying or labeling Esslinger by calling his work lame.

I always like to learn & I was curious to find out if you have some kind of knowledge or fact that backs up the label "lame" for someone who is so highly regarded.

If you had commented in lines of "dislike", "not my taste", etc. then I would have not probed to find out why you say that as those are opinions & preferences.

Lame is something that requires reason.

  • @Ivanspaintingdotcom

I´m just giving my comment, thats all, and you are trying to disqualify or label me for doing that. If you don´t like it don´t read it!

  • @AlecEmpire No need to google, I have known Rams long before there was internet. What is your point? If it is a response to:

"Please give us link to your non-lame designs so we can compare."

I was referring to designs or something that YOU have done & not who you think it is better. Your dislike does not make his designs lame. Lame is not dislike, it is disqualify or label as inadequate.

I just don't see how someone who has not shown he/she has established anything calling others inadequate.

  • @Ivanspaintingdotcom

    please google: "Dieter Rams"

  • @AlecEmpire He introduced Snow White when you were 10 years old. His motorcycle designs changed the street bikes look. Please give us link to your non-lame designs so we can compare.

  • I agree too with AlecEmpire
