Actually, if you look at genuine, careful, systematic observations of the number of computers in schools in relation to kids' academic success, time and time again, it's been shown that there's no relationship between the two. (For just one example see Lei and Zhao, 2007 - and there are many, many more)
It's little wonder that the part of this video in which the two characters "find" reasons to increase computer use is not shown.
