  • Nuff respect for Ron.....this dude is raw!

  • artest is probably a better defender than barkley was. i'll give him that. calling barkley overrated is a huge overstatement though. i don't see many 6'5 hall of fame power forwards who can bang the boards like charles did in the nba today.

  • RON IS ROUGH RUGGED AND RAW

  • its nothing crazy about Ron Ron....in history the media always disrepected our culture and the truth....crazy people are people who are affraid to tell the truth on espn..and other media outlets...by Champagne,,,

  • this year ;)

  • Kobe elbowed Bibby in game 6 of the 2002 WCF and got away with it..

  • check out Ron playing at Venice beach on my channel

  • welcome to L.A. holmes, land of the crazys, fit right in.

  • What happened was: artest had wanted to join Lakers for a while. So after the Lakers got blownout by the Celts, he went to the locker room, and told Kobe that he wants to play with him, and help him win a championship. So with that in mind he told Phil Jackson or the front office, and they made th trade (i believe so, this is what i've read)

  • Yeah that is weird, but maybe Kobe convinced him; they're supposed to be so good friends.

  • He wants to win, and what i find is extraordinary, is that he took the spot with the Lakers for less money, approx 2 mill less.

  • He's not a 'trader'. His contract finished, so he moved to the Lakers, Houston weren't looking to resign him anyway. They lost interest after they found out about Yao's condition. so they looked for Ariza. Artest doesn't want to waste his time in the NBA playing for a team that only plays together rarely. Whats the point of playing for a team who can't get past the second round?
