Self check-in is as easy as the A-B-C's once you watch this video on how to check-in and get your tickets printed out using one of the DSM's Self Check-in kiosks located conveniently around the air terminal. Primarily for passengers who are not checking bags, you can also say you're checking baggage too, pay for it with a credit card, and then the only thing you have to do when you get to the counter is give them your checked luggage.

Be informed, find out how to check-in without having to go to the counter. Pick seats, upgrades, check on air miles or apply them, etc. It is all a part of the new, faster, more convenient streamlining of the ticket process here at DSM!

Yep, as long as you do it at least 24 hours before departure. I do that all the time. I'll drop my rental car off the day before I leave to save a few bucks, and then print my boarding pass on the way out. This way, I can head straight to security without having to stop for anything. Reduces the number of flights I miss too :)

I have a question, can I go check in through the kiosk without boarding my flight but 24 hours before my flight? like say I need to get my boarding pass, so I go to the airport to get it and go home. Can I do this?
