Secret Victims of Christian Persecution - IDOP 2011 - Children of the Persecuted

Christian persecution is a reality facing the Body of Christ. We always heard stories of church leaders, pastors and parents as the victims. But very seldom that we usually see the effect of persecution to the children these adults leave behind once they are imprisoned or killed. We don't see the gravity of the trauma they experienced, nor the exposure of their young minds to many kinds of violence and abuse, making them somewhat the "secret" or "hidden" victims of persecution. For this year's International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church on November 13, 2011, we will give them the special focus and limelight. We are calling all Christians to be One With Them in prayer.
