ok to answer your first question i would go with fire and electricity. the thing that picks up stuff (telekinesis) doesn't really help all that much the only time you even need it in the story is to clear some rubble by throwing a bomb at it. and to answer your second question you can buy extra slots for the magic thing (plasmids) but not really early in the game. you first need to rescue/harvest little sisters for Adam then you can buy extra slots at a vending machine called gather's garden.

if you have the crossbow with the electrical wire you should set up a few of those first and try to lure the big daddy into it. i also prefer using the shotgun while fighting the big daddy. if your using the shotgun try to have the electric buck as this well help a lot. and also just using the electric power also helps a great deal.

big daddys are extremely voulnerable to exploding buck shots. you can easily take one out with 4 slugs, depending on your difficulty. also use anti personell bullets on machine gun for ALL SPLICERS. use regular bullets on machines and some splicers, and save your armor piercing rounds for big daddys.

- Search everithing, but do not eat while full HP, or drink coffy while full eve.

- Hack everithing

- Save EVERY little sister, you get MORE adam, and tonic rewards

- Take pictures the whole time so you get all the resarch bonuses as early as possible.

- Dont use health pack if possible, istead use health stations for 10$

- Get the "natural camouflage" tonci (from researching hodini splicers

- Get the folowing tonics: wrench lurker, armored shell, sports boost, wrench jockey, and bloodlust

My god, if you wanna take down a big daddy.. have enough buck bullets, have a good 5-8 health packs (if it's your first time) and have electro bolt. Along with some strafing skills thats all you need.

Fun fact: if you go to the slots and play for about 10 minutes (starting with about 100 money) you can fill your wallet. It's really hard to lose o___o

what i hate most about this game is that the enemys are numerous and keep spawning and addition to that, the ammo is tough to find and expensive -_-
