  • @arboppo So true. We Tiger supporters hope that one day we will again be the club of total Glory.

  • I grew up watching Maurice play for South Fremantle before he went to the Tigers. He was incredible. He had a unique ability to steal the ball out of other players hands as they were trying to kick it. Ive never seen another player do it. Football genius. His clashes with the Krakouer brothers were legendary. Superb kick off both feet and a great tackler.Teaming up in the centre with the mighty Stephen Michael. Always played blinders in the big games. Awesome memories Mr Magic, thanks.

  • May the LEGEND live on with Junior Boy. Bu**ger cost me a heap on the Brownlow this year, He was amonty., ah well maybe next year.

  • A very sad day for Tigers fans and the broader football community. Maurice Rioli was such a wonderful player and as a kid I remember him as one of the reasons I'd pay my money to see Richmond play. A wonderful player, impossible to tackle and able to mesmerise opposition players whilst creating something out of nothing. Fond memories of him and the other Tiger champions from this era are what's kept Richmond fans interested for the last 25+ years.

  • A legend of Tigerland.

    R.I.P.

  • A true Champion of the game. R.I.P. Mr. Magic.

  • RIP Mr Magic.

  • Forever a Tiger Champion!
