  • Beautiful, beyond belief.

  • Such a beautiful song. I was watching an old movie :The 3 Sailors and a Girl" and Jane Powell sang this song. The song was one of my favorites in the '50's when I was growing up. It made me nostalgic. I enjoyed this version by Gordon MacRae.

  • Beautiful, reminds me of the past.

  • Handsome man, gone too young.

  • I'm pretty sure Gordon MacRae studied classical voice in Europe in the early 1950s. He had a show on the radio (in America) that featured condensed versions of operettas. He acted and sang with various female singers. One that I can still remember was "Trilby." It featured the famous villain "Svengali." Poor Trilby!

  • Hi, Ruth!--Remember when you told me you liked this song so many years ago?

  • Such a beautiful song. Can't understand why no one else has covered it. MacRae had one of the best baritone voices ever.

  • Beautiful oldie song.

  • Well, Nancy, I see the dilemma with felix.

All three of us like the same music, share the same friends & subscriptions, we should be best of friends.

Felix is, sadly, like my late father. The only feelings that counted were his own and he would actually act mortally OFFENDED if you even mentioned he had hurt your own feelings.

Feelings are neither right nor wrong, they are just part of the fiber of your being.

Felix' feelings are different than ours, but he could be kinder in saying so.
