Learn about gripping a football from former University of Maryland Head Football Coach, Joe Krivak. Special guest speakers, former NFL Quarterbacks, Boomer Esiason and Frank Reich.
What I meant was that during the seasons he was on Bobby Ross' coaching staff as the QB coach, he developed Esiason, Reich, Gelbaugh and O'Donnell who all went on to play (in the case of Reich, Esiason and O'Donnell) multiple years in the NFL.
Joe Krivak, the best QB coach Maryland ever had though he had limited succes as the head coach from '87 through '91, replacing Bobby Ross after he left at the end of the 1986 season while the Maryland athletic department was in turmoil following Len Bias' death, with 1 bowl appearance in the 1990 Independence Bowl, which ended in a 34-34 tie with Louisiana Tech.
