Does it scan full band or only through memory channels?
Thanks
-
Amazing, I'm getting one !!
-
@cdesigns222 You don't need a computer to add a name to the channels on this unit. You just have to go through your menu until you reach the one called 'name'. It takes a while to type with but you can do it.
-
I got mine from euroradiosales and it´s been a super little radio

Download the windows-based programming software and enter the alpha tags in the appropriate column.
You can also enter alpha tags for a channel by going to MENU > NAME then use the channel knob to select a character and enter # to store it.
-
How did you do the alpha tagging? I can't figure out how to do it since I lost my manual and I don't think the manual really said much about it.
-
@xairsoftbrandonx ULTRA high frequency and VERY high frequency. :)

Grow up you ignorant piece of dogshit.
Yaesu, Icom and Kenwood gear are ALL MADE IN CHINA AS WEL,L DUMBASS. Puxing and Wouxun gear come from the same production line and only differ in design and firmware. Next time get your head out of your ass!
-
@ytTaz480 no its not you stupid worthless piece of shit. if your not transmitting it doesn't matter license or not. same thing as ham radio if you just wanna use as a scanner.
-
Have you actually used these radios dumbass ? They are pretty damn good and outperform many of the commercial radios made by the "Big 3". In fact, the radios made by Yaesu, Kenwood, Icom are all made in China as well, idiot. They are way overpriced compared with radios made by Puxing and Wouxun.
do you need a cable to program these units?

Only if you want to add a name to the channel, you can program the frequency by using the keypad and then save it to the channel, but for the alpha tag you need the cable. but the cable can be found on ebay fro $10-$15 and it worth it, the software can be found free on the puxing website
