Father and I (He a Ret. Col, USAF) went to the Salinas, CA airshow a few months back. One of the planes he flew was the Globemaster II, or C-124 before transitioning to the C-141. A bit sad was dad when the 141's became ingots but when we got to the airshow and saw the C-17 do it's thing, my fathers sadness over the loss of the 141's seemed to diminish. What a grin he had on his face. I'll never forget it...

One of the narrators sounds like General Hammond (Don S. Davis) from Stargate SG-1. Great narrators. Great plane.
