@rockyb8663 I believe so. After Escort sent it back from the tune-up a few years ago, they changed the screws to torx and I haven't got around to opening it back up since then.

That was good range is your 8500 a S7 ? I have a 8500x50 with the S7 antenna and it's still a great RD.

Yep. The radar unit is actually tied into the speedometer of the car and will calculate the speed of the target automatically. Check out LEOENFORCEMENT's channel for a look at how it works, he has a ton of good videos.
