The most amazing and breathtaking part during the opening ceremony of the Chinese National Games of 2005 held in the new olympic statium in Nanjing. It is said that this ceremony is a preview on the Olympic Games in Beijing 2008.
Well, I have to admit...it was one hell of a show!

This was amazing, but the level of surprise in the Athens ceremony was very high... Well, maybe I think that, 'cos i'm an architect and know the level of complexity the things should be, to do that, and of course... I think Calatrava's works are much better than H&M...

It isn't about race or political shit or any of that crap. it's the fact that this country with crazy pollution and several human rights violations and that currently occupies a defenseless nation is getting the olympics.

The decision was made 7 years ago by the IOC. In the spirit of the games they allowed China to showcase what they could do and hopefully some good would come from it. I doubt it but hell it's already on so quit your whining and enjoy the games.

sub standard products are the fault of the corporations that cheap out on production to save costs. othe companies need a scapegoat when products contain lead or w/e in them. they point their fingers to divert the attention. wtf were they doing shipping off american jobs to the chinese anyways? perhaps to save a little money on account of their greed? u get what you pay for.
