  • The bass player looks like a psycotic version of Billy Bob Thorton not that that's a bad thing. Rock on!

  • Stop Being so Close Minded. You really dont know the definition of TALENT.

  • I saw this band in Memphis. I think Joe Flick was in a few scenes in the movie 'WALK THE LINE' if not he's got a twin... these guy's are very talented!!

  • @arvydas0069

The Demseys are completely unknown in Europe by a lack of talent! Mention one hit they had overhere? They are only bad copycats , no more no less...

  • @jt123egypte You've obviously gone senile you old codger

The Dempseys rock the place....and their talent has not gone unnoticed having played in "Walk The Line", an Oscar winning film on Johnny Cash. You can barely move in any venue where they are playing.... I'll never forget walking into the Blues City Cafe in Memphis, having never heard of these guys and just getting blown away. Also, their upright bassist, Joe Fick, has more instrumental talent than Cash could have dreamed of.

  • Three guys on stage having a blast! Who gives a fuck if it's not like Johnny Cash's original! The band's having fun, the crowd is having fun - everyone is happy! If Johnny Cash were alive today, he's be joining in and ignoring grumpy old fuckers who think they know best ;-p

  • Yeah, I seen them live at Elvis Presleys Memphis on Beale Street, the base guy went wide open for like 2+ hours...I never seen anything like it, he's even more energetic than base palyer for Bill Haley.

  • If Johnny Cash and Elvis were alive they both would approve. Accept them as they are musicians with stage performance, Not the thieves and rapist as you imply. Now just enjoy the music and quit acting like an old crank!

  • @memphisvic It is a fact... I am old enough even to be your grandfather.I wrote a dozen books on music and you think I'm close minded...hi...hi... you are very funny! Indeed this is a disgrace by a bunch of amateurs raping a great song by Johnny Cash! If you don't recognize this...I regret we never find a agreement because of our ages,....

  • @jt123egypte I am a little offended that you would even say such a thing. I think you should grab a dictionary and look up the words "Tasteless" and "Amateurs" Let alone the word "Disgrace". So what, they're a coverband, So were the Cramps and the Blues Brothers, and they are Legendary groups. You can't call them tasteless or amateurs because they are very talented and fun to watch. I am impressed beyond belief with these guys. These guys can speak the language of music and Rockabilly fluidly.

  • Anyone know the bass players setup, as in what bass/strings/pickup/amp? Sorta hoping he drops in and sees this, haha.

    Good stuff.

  • kinda cool :p
